The Network Marketing Success Formula: Proven Techniques for Building a Thriving Business

BEFORE YOU START…

Before you start with Network Marketing, I would recommend that you thoroughly research the various companies and products.

If someone else has asked you if you want to join, you must be sure that you trust the person and can see yourself working with him/her for many years to come.

It is super important that you work on getting the right mindset and prepare yourself for not getting an acceptance every time you talk to a prospect.

LET`S DEFINE SUCCESS

But what exactly is success with Network Marketing?

For some people it’s the material goods like cool cars, big houses and trips to the wildest places in the most expensive hotels.

For others, it can be a few thousand extra dollars a month to sweeten life and spoil the family.

And then there are those who only sell products because they love them.

Finally, we must not forget the people who are in Network Marketing because they lack a community.

Because even though the industry has a tarnished reputation, there is no doubt that they are teeming with positive people in Network Marketing.

So your task now is to take a serious look at yourself in the mirror and find out what success means to you.

Maybe your biggest dream is just to spend more time with your children.

And it might be doable with an extra few thousand dollars a month.

If you dream bigger, you just have to be willing to work hard for a long period of time before the recurring income is a reality.

OLD SCHOOL OR ATTRACTION MARKETING?

I started with Network Marketing many years ago.

I chased anyone who came near me with my business opportunity and products and at the same time I burned quite a few bridges due to my aggressive behavior.

I still get residual income from the first company I joined although I haven’t actively worked with that company in years. And that is actually because the products are great so people keep buying them.

The system works!

However, my starting strategy is markedly different today.

When I started in the business, I learned that anyone with a pulse was a potential customer.

However, this I have learned is a terribly strategy.

Not everyone is your potential customer and not everyone is a fit for your team.

I have also moved far away from bugging my friends and family.

Today I use attraction marketing to attract customers in the non-spammy way.

In bullet point number 10, I will talk about this strategy.

Do you dream of becoming a digital nomad?

Maybe you dream of driving around the country; maybe you want to travel to exotic places; or maybe your biggest dream is to have more time for your children and your partner.

Everything is possible…


With network marketing, you have the opportunity to earn money to live the life you want.

It is not easy, but it is possible if you invest the time and effort required to realize your dream.

HOW TO SUCCEED IN NETWORK MARKETING

The 10 points for success in Network Marketing are written on the basis of my own experience over more than 10 years, know-how from experts in the industry, other blog articles and books on the subject that I have read.

Let´s dive into the content and review what it takes to be successful.

Are you ready?

1. Make A Decision…And Stick With It

Decide that you will master this and not give up.

Decide to learn and develop the skills to be able to sell the products and recruit members.

Be ready to leave your comfort zone because you can only be successful by talking to other people.

This can be incredibly difficult if you are an introvert and prefer to avoid talking to others.

2. Develop the Right Mindset

If you have decided to work with Network Marketing, it is probably because a friend or acquaintance has contacted you.

It could also be because you have tried the products and thought they were fantastic.

I can state with certainty that there is no industry with more positive people than in Network Marketing.

However, it is your own mindset and motivation that must ensure your success in the industry.

Even if your upline is willing to help and support you, you yourself must be ready to do the work required.

You cannot be successful without talking to other people, without showing and talking about your products and without presenting the business model.

If you have a good product and can help others make money in their spare time, you should hold the bar high and be confident.

You will encounter negative comments from family and friends so you should be ready to shut out all the noise so that it does not affect your motivation.

If you have dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur, Network Marketing is actually one of the cheapest ways to start up.

You don’t have to invest in expensive premises, storage space and a large inventory.

You can quietly start building your business at your own pace.

In time, you can make it your full-time job if you develop the right mindset, develop yourself personally, and do the work that it requires.

3. Expand Your Network

People who are successful in selling products and acquiring team members spend energy on making many friends in their network.

And here I don’t mean friends you’ve known since childhood, but new friendships that you develop continuously.

There is actually a reason why it is called Network Marketing.

The more real connections, friends and acquaintances you have, the easier your journey will be.


Build relationships with others who have the same interests as you and be genuine and authentic.

Build friendships through social media and stop pitching your products and business opportunity 4 seconds after they accept your friend request.

Be human, ask questions and interact so they end up attracted to your personality.

4. Gain Better Habits

Develop positive daily actions.

Consistent daily actions will give you successful days in the long run.

Make a plan and stick to it.

It might be that you comment positively on 3 posts, reach out to 3 people daily and send a sweet message to someone you haven’t spoken to in a while.

If you set out to present your product or business opportunity to at least one person every day, it will certainly produce results.

Be sure to continuously educate yourself by following webinars, reading books and practicing presenting your products.

The more you know about your products, the easier it is to excite someone in your network.

If you maintain these positive habits, you will notice a difference after a while.

5. Always Be Ready to Present

Always be prepared.

Make sure you have your link ready on your smartphone in case someone is interested.

I always have a browser window open on my phone so I can quickly copy it and send it to a curious friend.

It can also be a good idea to have a brochure fixed in your car so that you can share knowledge with someone who might be interested in your business.

It can also be on a USB stick or in your wallet.

If you have e-mail on your phone, this is also a lightning-fast way to share information.

And when you have shared the information, you must of course make sure to save their email so you can follow up later.

When you think this way, you are always ready to present products or the business plan.

6. Tell Good Stories

Most successful Network Marketers are good at telling their story.

It can be the story of how the products have helped you, how you became part of the company, or you can borrow powerful stories from others in the company.

These stories make it far more attractive for people to join your business or buy your products.


The more positive stories you can share, the more people you will attract to you.

7. Listen And Ask Question

When I started with Network Marketing, I was told repeatedly that it’s not about selling, but about sharing.

OF COURSE it’s all about selling!

Although we hate to sell, we do it every day.

We sell ourselves to the company we want a job in, we sell ourselves when we want a new partner, and we sell ourselves to people we want to be friends with.

Selling can be difficult, but often because we forget to listen.

There is a reason we have two ears and only one mouth.

When you listen, you can pick up buying signals, needs and wishes of the person you are talking to.

It’s not so much about talking endlessly, but more about listening and asking the right questions.

If you talk in a long stream of words about your products, compensation plan and your company, you will just scare away any prospects.

Unfortunately, there are many who think it’s about coming up with the most arguments in the shortest time.

And afterwards you don’t understand why the person didn’t say yes to the fantastic offer you gave them.

8. Enthusiasm!

The easiest way to stay optimistic and enthusiastic is to thoroughly familiarize yourself with the products.

This will give you the confidence and insight to smile when someone asks you what it is you actually sell.

Other people are attracted to positive people who radiate energy.

If you smile naturally and talk enthusiastically about your products, your circle of friends will automatically be attracted to your positive aura.

If people want to work with you, your journey will be a lot easier.

9. Have Big Dreams

Dream big!

When I started in the industry, I was often told that I had to have a why that could make me cry.

Maybe this is true for a lot of people but dreaming about what you want to achieve can get you motivated a long way down the road.

If you have a dream about what you want to achieve, I can recommend that you make a physical vision board so that you look at your dream every day.

I have heard of others who hang their dream on a piece of paper in several places in the house so that they see it as often as possible.

If you experience adversity, it is the dream that you must focus on in order to continue in a positive way.

10. Learn Attraction Marketing

Attraction marketing is the ability to attract customers by providing value to your followers.

It’s now a pretty old school approach to spam your circle of friends with your products and your business opportunity.

When I started in the industry I learned everything about how everyone was a potential customer, but today I have naturally become much wiser.

CONCLUSION

Be aware that few people make it all the way to the top of the mountain, but a good stack of extra dollars might do it too.

I am not an MLM millionaire myself, but I get residual income every single month and it helps to sweeten my life.

It may turn out after a while that the company you have chosen was the wrong match and you have to start all over again somewhere else.

Don’t panic because it’s completely normal.
