I am a nerd!
I’m not an expert in the field, but I use Attraction Marketing to build my business.
And I like to call myself a nerd (and my wife agrees).
A nerd is often seen as someone who spends too much time on topics others find abstract or technical.
To some, it might even seem like a waste of time.
The type that does not give up when faced with a problem or task.
I wonder if we can agree that nerds are necessary for this world.
Where would we be without personalities like Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, and Mark Zuckerberg…
Do you love to waste your money?
No right? You can waste a truckload of money on buying website traffic.
You even run the risk of your conversion rate being poor.
And the result can be that you get quite a few leads or maybe none at all (have tried it more than once and it can be expensive lessons learned).
But on the other hand, I have never been afraid to test to learn…
You do not have to start by wasting a ton of money to get leads, team members, customers and prospects reaching out to you.
There are many different types of marketing: Content Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Video Marketing and more…
When you are dealing with Attraction Marketing you are actually using some of the above marketing types.
But in this article, we focus on Attraction Marketing.
How Attraction Marketing can give you more customers
Attraction Marketing is basically about giving free value to your followers, building trust and your reputation.
This will turn your followers / fans into customers in the long run.
Most of us start a business to make money.
Our goal is to sell goods or make money on affiliate marketing (other people’s goods).
The most common is that you want to sell your own products…
And you are faced with the difficult task of creating a steady flow of customer items that would naturally like to shop with you.
It is this task that can cost most of us dearly in ad cost (I´ve been there).
And the whole main purpose is to make money and not just scoop money out ad libitum to various advertising platforms.
Without getting the big effect we dreamed of.
Fortunately, there is a better way that does not cost your entire pension savings… if you have a savings and are not forced to borrow the money with usury interest.
The whole idea behind Attraction Marketing is based on adding value to your future customer.
This means that you provide something for free in the form of a free course, a blog post, an informative PDF or perhaps an e-book.
Your goal is to start with what is called a soft sale!
Develop a positive Brand around your own person and thus create the trust needed for your potential customers to buy your product.
You actually become a kind of influencer who recommends your own product.
Does Attraction Marketing work?
Have you ever signed up for an email newsletter and after a while you decided to buy an item that was mentioned in the newsletter?
Maybe you also Googled an item and subsequently bought the item online via a blog post.
The person who wrote the blog post itself will probably receive a payment per. purchase from the retailer of the item.
This is what is called affiliate marketing.
You have definitely tried it without noticing how it relates.
It is about selling the item without forcing you to buy the item.
The various Brands and marketing agencies use energy to provide you with a free resource to familiarize you with their business and products.
I am NOT an expert in the field, but recently I hit 4-figures after a year of working on this strategy.
I keep getting new leads added to my email list and more and more prospects reach out to me for more information.

How do I get started with Attraction Marketing?
More and more business owners are opening their eyes to this strategy so the longer you wait to get started the harder it will be to cut through the crowd and be heard.
The most important thing is perhaps that you do not get stressed over all the things that you do not have in place yet.
Start by finding out who your perfect prospect or customer is.
Then you can take a piece of paper and write down what they have of problems, challenges and dreams. Remember that your task will be to help them solve these things.
Next, you need to figure out what you can offer to free services.
For example, it could be:
A free e-book
A simple PDF with tips or tricks
A free coaching consultation with you
A free webinar
A free course that you have recorded on video
Start a blog where you give tips and tricks to your followers
Make a podcast where you give good advice to your followers
The majority of marketers and Network Marketers who start online just post their company name and products on social media.
Without spending the necessary time to identify what their followers actually need.
Few people want to be spammed with random links that have nothing to do with them.
To attract prospects and customers to your business, you need to create consistent content that gives your audience some kind of VALUE.
All people think first of all: “What´s in it for me?”.
And that’s the mindset you need.
If you do not add value to your followers, you might as well forget about Attraction Marketing.
Start small in one platform and when you get more followers, you can slowly spread across other platforms.
I even started on Facebook in 2019, but you can choose to start on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or other platforms depending on what you thought was most exciting.
It’s about getting the right followers, and fans so you have a base that you can promote to.
When you get further in your journey, you can start sending your fans to a decidedly landing page (squeeze page) where they can get your freebie.
Of course, to get your freebie, they have to provide their email address and name.
Nurture your leads / prospects – Give them quality information and follow up regularly.
Let faces face it marketing email marketing is still super effective!
Once you have gained more skills, you can sell your main product through retargeting, but we’ll leave that in this article.
It just means that your website visitors are subsequently influenced by ads automatically via, for example, Facebook or other media.
But first you should define who you are talking to…

When you give away your freebie, you should “demand” an e-mail address in return to which you can send news emails.
This allows you to set up an autoflow later so you can influence your receiver for a longer period without spending extra time on it.
You can therefore provide value through tips and advice.
You can Brand yourself and offer your services automatically for a long period of time.
Find your Avatar before you start
Who are you talking to?
Before you start spending a whole lot of energy on attracting customers, you should define your target audience.
This step is absolutely crucial to your future success with Attraction Marketing.
You need to be 100% aware of who you are talking to and who you are trying to attract to your product or service.
If you try to talk to everyone, it will be very difficult to achieve results!
It may sound a little silly but take a piece of paper and describe your perfect core customer.
Also called your Avatar.
Write down with very specific information such as job situation, age, gender, financial status, marital status, hobbies, level of education, etc.
The more specific you are, the easier it will be to find out what service or item they are looking for.
This will make it much easier when you need to produce good content.
Write and talk to this one customer and in time your perfect followers will find you.

A. Understand the challenges of your audience
You may be thinking “I do not know much and who can I help?”.
But right now, there are thousands of people on social media complaining about problems that you can solve for them … and they are just waiting for you!
Once you have decided who you want to help, you are ready to explore the problems and challenges they face.
Take time to write down their problems, challenges, fears, pains, dreams, desires and needs on a list.
When you need to produce content for your Facebook page, emails, blog and other platforms, you can use these “emotional trigger points” to capture the attention of your target audience.
B. Build trust
Once you have identified the issues and challenges you can help with, it’s time to build trust.
If you can help them solve their problems with genuine interest and offer quality content you can get a customer for life.
If you have gained trust, it will be much easier to sell your services and products without you having to push a sale through.
Once a consumer has gained the Brand trust, they will be more loyal because they trust this particular Brand more than others.
When you are down at the local grocery store, you probably choose exactly the same toothpaste as you usually do because you trust the product…
If you maintain trust on an ongoing basis, few people will want to change brand or supplier.
C. Brand YOURSELF, not product or company names
If you are in an MLM business, there is a pretty high probability that you will have to contend with thousands of other Marketers about the customers… with the same products.
Traditionally, it is done old school by seeking out people, making meetings and cold calls where one tries to push the products or business opportunity down the throats of the customers even though they are not really the perfect prospect.
Did the “Old School Way” for years and I HATED how it made me feel!
Brand yourself and stand out from the crowd.
There is only one like you and you have the opportunity to have your very own fans who will reach out to you without you having to push them.
People will not join big companies; they will join YOU!
For the truth is that people buy products from people.
People want to trade you because they know you, like you and trust you.
If you can brand yourself as a leader who can solve their problems, they will join you.
You have probably experienced or heard that an MLM company suddenly disappears from the market.
When this happens, there are streaks of people losing their revenue from day to day.
MLM companies are known for changing their compensation plans from one day to the next, which can leave you with an extremely volatile income.
If you use your energy to brand the company name or product names, you only get people to Google the names.
Maybe they find a negative article that makes them forget all about the products.
Maybe they find another leader to work with or a cheaper alternative to your product or service.
You are guaranteed to lose a large number of leads if you brand your network marketing company instead of branding yourself.
You can avoid this by building your business around your personality.
You are the Brand!
If something unforeseen happens, you have the opportunity to change supplier and take your followers with you.

How does Attraction Marketing works?
Below you see a very simple formula for Attraction Marketing that I use to attract prospects every week on autopilot.

As you can see, there are 4 steps you need to follow to apply attraction marketing to your online business to turn visitors into customers:
1. Generate traffic
When you start, it can all seem a little overwhelming, but as I mentioned earlier in this article, you should consider choosing one platform to start with.
When I started in 2019, I chose Facebook as there are absolutely most people.
I “cleaned” my personal profile so that it was completely sharp and radiated positivity.
I then created a Facebook business page and started creating content.
You can continuously provide tips, advice, and quotes with positive posts.
If you are a little busier with gaining a following and generating traffic, I would recommend that you start by making live video. Live video is seen by many more than a regular post with image and text. Your visibility will be much greater with video.
I doubt I had reached my first 4-figure month so fast without making live video.
2. Landing page
You do not have to have a fancy landing page to start with.
The important thing is that you get an email address when you give your freebie away.
For the first many months, I entered my leads manually.
Your landing page may just consist of you mentioning that they need to write a message to you with their email address so you can submit your material.
Later, of course, it is much easier once you have automated the process.
A so-called squeeze page you can easily set up quite cheaply when you feel ready.
3. Nurture your leads
This point is crucial to your success.
Your job is to create consistent content that provides value to your followers.
And it may feel a little anxiety-provoking and unmanageable.
But think about this:
The vast majority of Network Marketers do NOTHING!
Once you make the decision and get started, you are already miles ahead of your competitors.
The more valuable content that solves your followers’ problems and challenges the faster you will get a wide fan base.
Find the problems that worry them most and help them solve the problem.
If you deliver good content, it will automatically be seen and shared. Make video, Live video, blog posts, interviews and posts on social media.
As mentioned earlier, you should pick one platform to grow on.
Later, you can expand with more when you start getting results.
Or will you quickly burn out if you need to produce content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, email recipients, LinkedIn etc.
You can make polls, invite them to visit your website.
Start gathering relevant friends on the various platforms.
Of course, you can reuse a lot of your material over time, but you should be aware of what is good content on the various platforms. Instagram, for example, is far more visual than Twitter…
You should be able to continuously educate and entertain your followers.
You are now transforming into a professional influencer who solves problems.
Because you provide value and do not constantly push to sell, you will create a bond with your followers.
They will see you as a leader and because you help them, you will eventually earn their trust.
Engage with Your Followers and Fans!
If you want to achieve fast results, the trick is to interact with your audience.
When you build a relationship with another human being, you will build a relationship of trust much faster.
Have a genuine interest in other people and behave humanely.
Trust is 100% crucial if you want to sell your products and services.
When another person comments on your material, you should always take the time to create a conversation.
Be interested in their content and drop a comment or a like when they post a picture. It’s an easy and fun way to build your Brand.
Get involved with people who match your core customer (Avatar) and comment on their content.
If you are aware of this every day, you will much faster build a following that is interested in your Brand and your services.
4. Convert to sale
Now you are about to be ready to reap the benefits of all your hard work.
Your tribe begins to know you, like you and trust you.
Now is the time to make money.
If you start with this step before you have built up a solid credibility, you will be perceived as a “Spammy Tammy” or a “Spammy Sammy”.
And you will have a very hard time getting a business up and running with ongoing revenue.
Do not be discouraged when people say no to your offer.
It should always be okay for people to say no.
Some of your followers may want to follow you for several years before they feel ready.
It is always a good idea to have multiple income streams…

Once you have nurtured your leads and given them quality advice and information, your audience will eventually begin to trust you.
Of course, you need to continually introduce your products, services or affiliate offers so you can start getting sales and money at the checkout.

There is a reason why several physical stores offer small samples.
The customer can get to know you better without feeling the pressure to invest.
They can get a little insight into the value that your particular Brand offers.
Remember to follow up on your leads and customers on a regular basis.
You can ask for reviews of your services or products.
Most people love when you give them positive attention after buying an item.
